This chip is Evergreen's latest offering for the Overdrive market. The Spectra 333, allows users to upgrade to the AMD K6-2 333 without having to upgrade their system to the Super Socket 7 standard. This chip offers an exteremly powerful upgrade option for users of Pentium based systems of 75 MHz or above. The Spectra is not a cheap upgrade option, weighing in at around £195, which is more than the total cost of upgrading both motherboard and processors to Super Socket 7/AMD K6-2 333 standard. With performance and stability just marginally behind that of an AMD K6-2 333 based system, the Spectra AMD 333,
is astounding value for money. This chip would make an ideal upgrade for owners of older systems made by manufacturers such as Compaq &
