The Athlon 650 was the first Athlon processor which was not available on launch day, instead appearing in September, it was for a time the
fastest x86 CPU money could buy. Now it has been superseded by the Athlon 700 and 750, the Athlon 650 offers excellent performance for
a considerably smaller price tag.
