Cooling.

Cooling of your CPU is extremely important. If a chip is not properly cooled it could be damaged by heat & even cause damage to your motherboard. Make sure you have the right cooling for your CPU!

If you are installing a retail boxed Intel CPU, the fan which comes with it is probably your best bet.
